Patan is a fourth-year student pursuing a career in medicine. He is on track to complete a double major in Chemistry and Music. Hailing from Phuket, Thailand, and having spent the majority of his upbringing in Shanghai, China, Patan has gained a unique perspective on diverse cultures. Currently, he works at Emory University Hospital (EUH) as a medical assistant, conducts melanoma research at Winship Cancer Institute, and serves as a mentor for the Emory Pipeline Collaborative (EPiC) Program and the International Academic Mentor (IAM) Program. Apart from academic pursuits, Patan enjoys photography and playing basketball.
