At Scoreboard, our tutors are in the position to strategically handle the tutee’s learning according to their ability and level of understanding, and keep the tutee on-task with proactive behavior modification and positive reinforcement strategies.
Promote independence.
Our goal is to promote autonomous learning and, in doing so, make tutoring unnecessary for our students. Our tutors work to foster this skill through a combination of facilitated instructional session and supervised independent study, providing opportunities for our learners to take control of their own learning.

By doing so, we are able to tailor our lessons for each individual learner, enabling their ability to learn the materials more effectively. During this process, our tutors will be actively refining their study strategies to help them become better performers in the classroom.

At Scoreboard, our tutors learn even more than the tutees because they are constantly practicing active recall while explaining concepts. As a tutor, you will be able to interact with other tutors at Scoreboard, as well as your content faculty members. This can lead to enriching discussions and increased understanding, application, and evaluation of your subject areas.
